Behind the scenes of last years "6th annual" Smooth Girl Magazine"

Each year Smooth Girl Magazine goes down to Jamaica for it's sexy annual photo shoot.  Last year this blog had a contest where it gave away 1 hard-to-find issue to a guy named Steve.  We'll be doing the same this year.  Anyway...here's a few random photos from last years photo shoot, behind the scenes.

A couple swap at Hedonism II

"On our arrival in Jamaica, several other couples joined us for the airport-to-resort van ride. Lynette and I rode adjacent to an attractive black couple from San Francisco and over the 3-hour journeyed we enjoyed enough banter with Trace and Felicia to feel comfortable planning our first afternoon on the beach with them.

 Trace's wife, Felicia, was lighter in coloring due to mixed Asian blood that also gave her an exotic look. At five-nine she was shorter my six-feet, and much shorter than Lynette's five-three height. Like Lynette, she'd run track in college and now worked as a physical therapist."

Burning Man 2011 - new photos

Burning Man just wrapped up yesterday after it ran from August 29th to September 5th, 2011.  Last year I blogged about Burning Man, Woodstock in the desert - Burning Man, and I figured this year I'd simply give a nice pictorial review of this years event.  A friend of mine, and a blog follower, went to this years event and grabbed some pretty cool shots.

  Mad Max in the desert indeed!  I gotta get out to the desert to celebrate my first Burning Man.  It just seems to have that "Whatever you wanna do dude" type of attitude that I like.  'Cept for their strict rule of cleaning up after yourself, in which I like a lot.

Free cocktails at Waikiki Edition Hotel

Modern Hotel is a former Marriott hotel (Waikiki Edition) in Honolulu, Google Map, that got taken over by new management, but one of the downfalls of the switch was a hold on the hotels liquor license.  That's like a death sentence to a hotel!   So as it straightened out the legal issues the new management decided to just give away free drinks! 

But don't get too excited, by Friday of this week they were back to selling booze as the liquor license snafu ended.  Damn!  So for those lucky guests that were at the hotel for the 1-2 days of free drinks, hats off to you!  The hotel has five bars at two pools, a nightclub, and a restaurant, Morimoto Waikiki.  That's a lot of drinks sales they missed out on!

Southwest kicks off rocker for saggy pants

"Pants on the ground, pants on the ground...looking like a fool with your pants on the ground!"  Thank you American Idol contestant for that one.   Greenday front man, Billie Joe Armstrong, got kicked off a flight from Oakland to Burbank on Thursday night.  

An associate producer from "7 Live" from a San Fran ABC station was on the plane with Armstrong when the incident happened. 

"A flight attendant approaches him and says, 'Pull your pants up,'" the producer said.  "He says, 'Don't you have better thing to do than worry about that?' and then the flight attendant says again, 'Pull your pants up or you're getting off the plane.'" 

Well, he got kicked off!   Later on his Twitter account Billie Joe Armstrong tweeted, "Just got kicked off a Southwest flight because my pants sagged too low!" Armstrong tweeted. "What the f-? No joke!" 

Come on Southwest, if they're falling off that's one thing.  I used to dig Southwest, these days I'm starting to dig Virgin Airlines better.
