A teen in Costa Rica is shot dead by a security guard

Here's a very sad story out of Costa Rica.  Last week a 16 year old young man out of Kansas City was in Costa Rica on a vacation.   The teen was traveling with 40 other kids on a Spanish Club outing when he was trying to sneak back to his room at La Cangreja Lodge.  He had crossed the fence alerting a dog then a 34 year old guard who proceeded to shoot the kid dead in the heart with a .22 caliber gun.

As a side note I still feel Costa Rica is one of the safest vacation spots in Latin America.
