Airbus released images and a computer-generated video of what flying might look like in the year 2050 and that's got people buzzing. From what it looks like it's more of a spaceship than a plane. The biggest change is the skin of the plane that could "turn from opaque to transparent on command, to do away with windows and provide a panoramic view of the sky."
On-board they talk about having seats that adjust to the size of the flier, mood lighting, aromatherapy and acupressure treatments. They even are looking to have virtual golf where bored passengers can get in a round of golf played via a virtual projection.
This all sounds wonderful but didn't you think as a kid we'd have flying cars in 2011? 2050 is a long ways off, can this type of plane be in the sky in 30 years?
