Starting tomorrow, Red Stripe Light is increasing it's pricing for the first time in 18 months as a new Jamaican tax kicked in last month in December.
(The first Red Stripe was brewed up in 1928)
If you like your Red Stripe strong, Red Stripe Bold is actually getting cheaper. And regular old Red Stripe is staying at it's regular price. All of these changes has gotten Red Stripe so mad that they've talked about taking part of the beer process OFF the island of Jamaica which I'm sure nobody wants.
