March 10th is National Passport Day

If you can't stand the idea of waiting FOREVER to get a passport, this story might peak your interest.  March 10th, 2012 is National Passport Day here in America.  What's that mean?  On that date, U.S. citizens are allowed to apply for U.S. passports without an appointment.

Head over to one of the regional offices and fill out the paperwork, then choose standard processing (4-6 weeks) or pay an additional $60 for expedited processing (2-3 weeks, door-to-door).
