The Venetian in Vegas is getting a skating rink

Just in case you get bored in Las Vegas, AKA Sin City, you'll soon be able to go skating at the Venetian Hotel on some fake ice!  It's being billed as the only type of skating rink on the strip and it's made from recyclable polymer which requires no refrigeration or electricity.

The rink is set to open November 21st 2011, in time for Thanksgiving, and will close January 9th, 2012.  The cost is going to be $19 bucks for a 30 min session which will include the skates.

The resort also is offering a special, from $149 a night weekdays, that includes accommodation, two skating sessions, hot chocolate for two, $40 off spa services, 20% off the bill at Valentino or The Grill at Valentino and more.  Go here for the scoop: Venetian Offer.
