Next time you find yourself at the Vdara Hotel and Spa in Vegas, Google Map, watch out for the "death-rays" at the pool! Reports are coming in that the reflective glass of the structure is sending super bright (and hot) light down into the pool area! Reports of plastic glasses melting, singed hair and superheated beach bags are coming in from Sin City.
Review-Journal staffers visited the above ground pool recently unannounced and found a "hot spot" during one of their visits around mid-day. A Lawyer out of Chicago, who co-owns a Vdara condo, reported an acrid odor and saw his hair actually singing in hot rays. "I was effectively being cooked," he told a newspaper.
