A couple that came to the resort in December had this to say about life at the resort:  "We just got back from Jewel Dunn's River in Ocho Rios Jamaica.  The resort still looks like Sandals and the staff is overly anxious to serve you. We have been coming to Ocho for 10 years now and usually stay at Ciboney/Sandals and I have to say Jewel is better because of the people.  I noticed some other reviews that the food was below par in the restaurants but what I found it's resort food, not 5 star, so its fine.  However I came here to eat jerk chicken and its excellent.  Also, the pizza was good.  If you go find the bartender Garnet he's the best and go on a catamaran with Vidal.  Justin is the life of the party he always made sure we where having fun. Go have a hummingbird and relax this is a great place to be."
