Super Bowl XLV (45th) is being held this year in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Google Map, on February 6th 2011. But the question is - can you still get a room? The short answer is, YES, and it's not all that much money. I did a check on Kayak.com and found rooms from $159 per night as such places as a Best Western, Super 8 and MCM Grande. If you travel further out you can even find rooms around $90 a night too. On these searches I said I was checking in Friday the 4th to Monday the 7th.

Now, why fly to Dallas Ft. Worth and just book a room if you can't get into the big game. Soooo, can you get tickets for the Super Bowl? The short answer is, yes, if you got a bunch of cash. www.stubhub.com/super-bowl-tickets currently has tickets from around $2,200 all the way up to 328k!

So if you're rich and wanna go, you can. Either way, enjoy the game people and who are we picking to win? I'm thinking it's Green Bay's year, but we'll have to see if they can make it past Chicago.
As a huge Packers fan, I have been kicking the tires on the trip to Dallas, but the reality is that I could get that far and have zero chance to get in. Question is, will the atmosphere be worth it? Oh, decisions.
